Whitford , makers of fluoropolymer coatings, has confirmed Teknicote , Rumford, RI, as a member of the Whitford Recommended Coater (WRC) program. The WRC program recognizes custom coaters that meet certain criteria, including a thorough knowledge of Whitford coatings and experience in applying them, completion of a Whitford training course, and having certain quality-assurance procedures in place. Coaters in the program go through rigorous audits every two years to requalify for the program. In recognition of the confirmation, Whitford awarded a plaque to Steve Dolan, president of Teknicote.
