Panel-Mount Connectors

binder, Camarillo, CA, has added angled panel-mount connectors to its product line. The M5 connectors are engineered for applications needing compact, durable solutions. Barely visible to the naked eye are the spread positioning pins, which ensure optimal twist protection on the circuit board even before soldering. A recessed o-ring ensures a reliable seal with the housing. The o-ring is precisely pressed against the housing when the panel-mount connectors is connected, ensuring optimal sealing.

Reciprocating Head for Medical Tubing

A new reciprocating head for medical tubing is available from Guill Tool, West Warwick, RI. The traditional tip-and-die assembly is replaced with a linear reciprocating assembly that changes the tube’s profile within a given length. This process is repeated throughout a single extrusion run without interruptions. Cutting capability, in association with the extrusion speed, cuts the finished product to length. The head eliminates an entire assembly operation and eliminates in-process inventory. It eliminates a connecting piece and allows JIT production and products made-to-order.
