November is national diabetes awareness month. What was the first so-called artificial pancreas approved for commercial use in the United States?

The Medtronic MiniMed 670G. This system, which received FDA approval in September 2016, marked a groundbreaking milestone in diabetes care. the first device to create a closed-loop system by combining insulin delivery and glucose monitoring with a control algorithm.
