Multiphysics Simulation Platform
COMSOL, Burlington, MA, has released version 6.4 of its COMSOL Multiphysics simulation platform with expanded NVIDIA GPU acceleration for large, coupled models. New solvers offload compute-intensive linear algebra to supported GPUs to speed transient and parametric studies while reducing memory use. Additional updates include a granular flow module, improved time-explicit structural dynamics, and workflow tools that streamline geometry handling, meshing, and postprocessing for medical device design teams.
