Vascular Pathways, Inc., Naples, FL, a privately held medical device manufacturer of a product for peripheral intravenous access, has selected Bill Bold as Executive Vice President, Sales and Marketing. Bold was most recently President of Access.
Innovative Pulmonary Solutions, Bellevue, WA, has named a new CEO, Dennis Wahr, who previously headed devicemaker Lutonix and co-founded Velocimed.
Expansions
Helix Medical, LLC, Carpinteria, CA, a global manufacturer for the medical device and healthcare industries, opened its newest medical manufacturing facility in Alajuela, Costa Rica, making its ninth operation and the first in Latin America. Services there include design and development, engineering, silicone extrusion, silicone and thermoplastic molding, assembly and sub-assembly, custom packaging, and full validation capabilities.
Nordson ASYMTEK, Carlsbad, CA, a leader in dispensing, coating, and jetting technologies, has expanded its representation in Poland. In addition to sales, tech support, and service provided by AMB Technic, Scanditron will provide sales and service in this region for Nordson ASYMTEK.
Intermountain Healthcare, Salt Lake City, UT, has opened a new 327,000 square foot highly automated distribution, warehouse, and office facility, which will order, purchase, stock, and distribute more than 5,000 different types of medical supplies.

Together they will offer extensive product development resources for creating novel metal additive manufacturing designs.
Boston Scientific Corp., Natick, MA, a worldwide developer, manufacturer and marketer of medical devices, has signed a definitive agreement to acquire BridgePoint Medical, Inc., a privately held company based in Minneapolis, MN, that has developed a proprietary, catheter-based system to treat coronary chronic total occlusions.
Bunting Magnetics Europe Limited, a manufacturing and sales operation center based in Berkhamsted, England, for Bunting Magnetics Co., Newton, KS, has announced the acquisition of E-Magnets UK Ltd., located in Sheffield, England. E-Magnets UK Ltd. specializes in direct and wholesale supply of magnetic products worldwide.
