The ScopeCheck® coordinate measuring machine from Werth, Inc. (Old Saybrook, CT) includes an image processing sensor and software designed for requirements of dimensional measurement to allow fully automatic measurement of complex, extremely low-contrast workpieces, using transmitted and incident light. Areas of application can be expanded by integrating additional sensors. Mechanical contact systems, probe changing magazines, and rotating articulated heads increase the level of flexibility and allow the device to be configured for specific applications. Measurement range of this series is up to 3500 mm in the X-axis, and 1750 mm in the Y-axis. The measured geometry elements are displayed graphically, as in a design drawing. A click allows them to be linked to dimensions.
