ASM Sensors (Elmhurst, IL) has expanded its product line of tape extension position sensors, POSITAPE®, with the introduction of the WB25 series. The measurement ranges are 12m, 15m, 20m, and 25m. The tape is constructed out of a high-tech stainless steel material that is 10 mm wide and with only a 0.08 mm thickness. Its smooth surface reduces the risk of icing. The series features a standard IP64 enclosure rating with an option for an IP67 rating and is available with the typical analog outputs: 0.5-10V, 0.5-4.5, and 4-20mA.
