Important Webinar Update from Sterigenics:

At Sterigenics, we are actively responding to the current healthcare crisis, prioritizing the sterilization of essential supplies needed to address COVID-19. As such, we have made the decision to cancel our LIVE Webinar “EO Sterilization: The Future State” scheduled for March 31st. We will instead make the Webinar available On Demand at a time that has yet to be determined. You will be notified when it is available. We apologize for any inconvenience. Visit our website  to access additional On-Demand Webinars and learn more about Sterigenics’ response to COVID-19.

Ethylene oxide (EO) sterilization technology plays a vital role in enabling critical medical products and devices to reach patients safely worldwide. According to the FDA, “more than 20 billion devices sold in the U.S. every year are sterilized with EO, accounting for approximately 50 percent of devices that require sterilization.” The same properties that make EO an effective sterilant require it to be carefully controlled to protect workers, communities, and patients.

This 45-minute Webinar examines strategies employed to reduce EO usage while ensuring designated sterility assurance levels and benefits. It also discusses innovative new solutions that enhance the safe, sustainable use of EO from Sotera Health and its business units, Sterigenics and Nelson Labs.

An audience Q&A follows the technical presentation.
