Overmolded Cable Connectors

8-pin cable connectors

Binder, Camarillo, CA, has launched a series of 8-pin cable connectors, equipped with molded, UL-approved PUR or PVC cables. The series is designed primarily for use in applications where liquid media are found. The 770 NCC (not connected closed) series provides level IP67 protection, being dust-tight and shielded against temporary submersion. High-Voltage Connector

Multi-contact high voltage connector

LEMO, Rotkreuz, Switzerland, has introduced a multi-contact high voltage connector. The REDEL ® 2P Multi-Contact High Voltage Connectors are available in 2, 5, and 8 contact configurations. They are designed for medical applications where compliance to user safety IEC 60601-1 (Rev. 3) is required, including PFA (pulsed field ablation) and PEF (pulsed electric field) catheter and cardiac applications technologies. The connectors address 2 MOPP/2 MOOP (Means of Patient/Operator Protection), which increases the air clearance and creepage distances to guarantee user safety. Building on the 2P series legacy in medical applications, the new connectors are an ideal solution for PFA and PEF catheter and cardiac applications technologies.
