The Model 455 dispensing valve from Tridak, a DYMAX Company (Torrington, CT), is a pneumatically operated, two-way pinch valve that features micrometer control over the flow rate, ensuring that materials are dispensed repeatedly and accurately. The valve has an over-stroke adjustment, positive shutoff, and disposable inert wetted parts. It can be used as a dispense valve or as an inline, two-way valve with adjustable flow. Teflon tubing is standard, but it can be converted to use other tubing materials such as silicone, urethane, polyethylene, or vinyl.

The valve was designed to be integrated into automated assembly lines and can be fitted with a variety of different dispense tips and spray nozzles. It can dispense a large variety of low- to medium-viscosity materials such as adhesives, UV resins, flux, gels, acids, sealants, cyanoacrylates, lubricants, medical media, solvents, anaerobics, and alkalis.
