Weiss North America, Willoughby, OH, offers indexing rings, which feature a flat design and are suitable for ring-style chassis systems that can accommodate as many as 24 stations for assembly processes. The TR1100 indexing rings can have a central opening as large as 1750 mm. The dial ring has a minimum outside diameter of 1100 mm and a maximum inside diameter of 800 mm with a ring thickness of 25 mm. For an assembly station, the ring-shaped design allows for extra free design space, and the rotating aluminum ring can be adjusted to customer specifications in terms of diameter and thickness. The ring’s indexing precision in degree seconds is ±18 in. and the indexing precision in radian measurement is ±0.048 mm (at Ø 11 mm).
