DYMAX Corporation (Torrington, CT) has introduced the 210-CTH MD® medical device adhesive, a tack-free, LED-curable adhesive formulated for on-demand cure with the DYMAX BlueWave® LED Prime UVA spot-curing lamp. The adhesive is designed for rapid bonding of a wide variety of plastics typically used in the manufacture of catheters. Bondable substrates include PC, PU, ABS, and PVC. 210-CTH is moisture-resistant, cures tack-free with light in less than 0.4 seconds, and is suitable for Y-connector assembly, connector-to-tube bonding, and balloon bonding. It is compatible with gamma, EtO, and e-beam sterilization.
