Analog Voltage Amplifier
A fully digitally configurable device from FUTEK, Irvine, CA, features Bluetooth® wireless communication and USB configurability as well as built-in active protection for exceptional reliability and robustness. The IAA105 requires no manual process for calibration and setup. The entire calibration process can be performed through the SENSIT® Lite app. Users can adjust the gain or other settings, such as bridge excitation, output range, bandwidth, and shunt. They can also enable and disable features as well as restore data according to their needs. Three shunt values: 60, 100, and 150 Ω, and two bandwidth stages, 1 and 10 kHz, can be selected.

Miniature Rotary Encoder
EBE, Leinfelden-Echterdingen, Germany, has launched a miniature safety rotary encoder. The ESC17 mini safety offers magnetic detection of the rotational movement and the touch signals. With 16 locking positions, the ball-spring locking mechanism used offers pleasant haptic feedback. It is designed for several hundred thousand revolutions and tactile movements, and feel can be adapted to customer requirements. Protection against ESD discharges in accordance with IEC 61000-4-2 when installed is guaranteed. Two independent HALL sensors ensure that the rotation and button signals are recorded redundantly. In the event of an error, a separate signal is issued via a dedicated PIN.
