PCAP Touchscreens

Schurter, Santa Rosa, CA, has recently completed its production facility for its human-machine interface (HMI) capabilities. The facility will manufacture the company’s projected capacitive (PCAP) touchscreen line. The company can manufacture prototypes for pretesting and fast market introductions. In addition to HMI solutions, the company develops power entry modules that offer low leakage filters, ground line chokes, cord retaining solutions, and IP-rated units such as its new 6080 series, which is IP54 rated under load. Other capabilities include electronic manufacturing services for medical equipment.
