Sotera Health , a global provider of mission-critical sterilization and lab-testing and advisory services, has acquired Montana-based BioScience Laboratories . This acquisition expands the U.S.-based antimicrobial and antiviral testing capabilities of Sotera Health’s Nelson Labs business. BioScience Laboratories is a leader in topical antimicrobial product testing in the consumer, pharmaceutical, and medical device industries. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
According to Sotera, BioScience Laboratories, which is headquartered in Bozeman, MT, is known for its customer service, research, innovation, and quality control. They are recognized for their analytical testing and clinical trial services for manufacturers of consumer products, healthcare products, pharmaceuticals, and more. Founded in 1991, the company formerly owned and operated by Dr. Daryl Paulson and Marsha D. Brown operates a 22,000 sq ft laboratory in Bozeman, which includes a new Biosafety Level 3 (BSL-3) Virology lab.

BioScience Laboratories’ facilities are FDA registered and ISO 17025 accredited.
