Protek Power, Hudson, MA, released the PM1100 Series of medical AC/DC switching power supplies that delivers 1100 Watts of continuous power (with 1250 Watts peak) in a package layout of 5.91 × 9.25 × 2.4". The supplies offer a universal input voltage range of 90-264 VAC, and single output voltages of 24, 28, 32, 34, 36, 42, and 48 volts with a 5V/200 mA standby output. Applications include medical applications, such as those needing BF-rated insulation. They feature less than 300-microamp leakage current, and operating altitude up to 5,000 meters.
