COMSOL, Inc., Burlington, MA, released major new additions to the COMSOL simulation platform. The latest version of COMSOL Multiphysics, version 4.3b, introduces five new application- specific modules: Multi-body Dynamics, Wave Optics, Molecular Flow, Semiconductor, and Electro chem istry modules, as well as expanded modeling and analysis tools. The new features include enhancements to CAD importing and geometry handling, meshing, physics, solvers, results, and productivity tools that offer increased usability and performance throughout the product development process.
