On Line Controls (Hudson, MA) has introduced a new remote control unit for MicroAir II ultra-low air pressure controllers used in the manufacture and extrusion of medical, catheter, and automotive tubing. The unit is contained in a small box with up/down control buttons and a digital display that can be located 100 feet away from the MicroAir II. The remote connects to the 4-20 mA output option. Control of plastic tubing extrusion air pressure can now be done from the end of the line or MODBUS interface to PLC units.
