The new MED-6219 low-viscosity silicone elastomer from NuSil Technology (Carpinteria, CA) is suitable for any application requiring a flowable yet high-durometer material with a transparent appearance. It is able to withstand extreme temperatures and is designed to cure at a wide range of temperatures to accommodate users' needs. It features a low viscosity and is a naturally flowable and self-leveling material. The MED-6219 can be used for potting and encapsulating electronic devices or for making molded parts. Because it can be vulcanized at both high and low temperatures, this elastomer is suitable for temperature- sensitive substrates or for use in environments with fluctuating temperatures.
