KNF Neuberger (Trenton, NJ) has introduced the FEM 1.02 and FEM 1.09 diaphragm dosing pumps for liquids that integrate simple 2-phase stepper motors. An optional and adaptable control module can be integrated into any system to expand control potential and suit particular application requirements. Typical applications include medical diagnostics, industrial dosing systems, fuel cells, semiconductor processing, and wafer analysis. The FEM 1.02 pump achieves flow rates from 0.2 mL/min to 20 mL/min and FEM 1.09 pump from 0.9 mL/min to 90 mL/min. Both are 62 × 75 × 63 mm and cover a wide dosing range (1:100). They operate oil-free and can serve reliably for more than 10,000 hours. The pumps are self-priming to 8.5 in.Hg, and demonstrate consistency over time (1% repeatability). Depending on pump version, head materials include polypropylene (PP) or PVDF, and internal elastomeric components are manufactured from EPDM, FFPM, and PTFE. Ports are available in UNF 1⁄4-28 or compression fittings.
