Antimicrobial Adhesive

Avery Dennison Medical Solutions (Pasadena, CA) has developed an antimicrobial adhesive featuring NIMBUS® technology from Quick-Med Technologies (Gainesville, FL) that can be used for a variety of medical applications including surgical, wound care, and vascular access. The performance of the antimicrobial adhesive has demonstrated efficacy across multiple organisms even in the presence of large amounts of serum and body fluids. NIMBUS is non-toxic, non-leaching, non-depleting, and designed to eliminate the risk of bacterial resistance issues.
