XP Power (Sunnyvale, CA) has introduced the AHM series of external AC-DC power supplies aimed at medical and IT applications. The series comprises 5 single-output ranges of 85, 100, 150, 180, or 250 Watt output, and provides the popular nominal outputs from +12 to +48 VDC. All units are convection cooled, removing the need for any internal forced air flow, which is important for healthcare equipment located close to a patient.
