Ultra Motion (Cutchogue, NY) has upgraded its linear actuator product line to include precision ground metric ball screws. Several different lead accuracies (ranging from 8 to 50 micron) and backlash specifications (ranging 0/preloaded to 20 microns) are possible. The actuators can be configured using a number of different motor and position sensing technologies. They can be optimized for forces up to 500 pounds, or speeds up to 20 inches per second. Various mounting options are also available.
