The THERMOLAST® M thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) from KRAIBURG TPE (Duluth, GA) is suitable for medical applications. It features short cycle times for 1K and 2K injection molding and extrusion, and resistance against isopropanol is available. The product line also allows for the use of ethylene oxide, superheated steam (up to 134 °C), and gamma ray treatment in sterilization.
