Qosina (Edgewood, NY) offers sanitary fittings that feature a pre-attached platinum-cured silicone gasket. Hose barbs in sizes from 1/4” to 3/4” with flanges adhering to both the “Mini” and “Maxi” standards are available. They are Class VI, animal-additive-free, and gamma- or autoclave-sterilizable. Three types of fittings are packaged in a hermetically sealed, tamper-evident, PET/LLDPE pouch, providing an aseptic environment.
